Kim Johnson is President and managing partner of OneCommonwealth Financial Group. Having over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry helps fuel her passion to recruit, train and motivate cutting-edge professionals in strategic planning, business operations, marketing, sales and leadership.
Kim and OneCommonwealth serve people of all ages, from baby boomers to millennials. It's OneCommonwealth's mission to improve their clients' quality of life, help them establish a higher standard of living, and protect their present and future financial situations.
Before coming to OneCommonwealth, Kim worked at Guardian Insurance Co., New York Life Insurance Co., and Prudential Financial. At each company, she distinguished herself by growing sales and agent productivity, developing award winning advisors, and promoting several representatives into leadership positions.
Kim holds FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65 and life insurance, health, and annuity licenses; is a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), GAMA (General Agents and Managers Association) and FSP (Society of Financial Professionals); and holds a CLF (Chartered Leadership Fellow) designation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from the University of New Mexico.
Outside of her profession, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, husband Larry, her children and grandchildren. She is an avid sports fan and loves to travel. Kim is an active member with the Rotary Club of Lexington, serving on several project committees, is a board member for God's Closet, and is active with her sorority alumnae chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the Professional Women Forum. She also serves on the board for the Lexington Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals.
